Exciting News!! Soon you will be able to get your hands on a limited edition Offaly GAA jersey. To bring you this, Colgans Sports have joined forces with Offaly GAA and O’Neills Sportswear.
In 1982 Offaly had one of the coolest jerseys of its time and you too can own a replica version of the shirt Offaly worn when they famously stopped Kerry from winning a five-in-a-row of All-Ireland football titles in 1982. Because of a clash of colours, Offaly wore a predominantly white jersey, while Kerry were in green for what was agruably the most memorable All-Ireland final of all-time which was decided by Seamus Darby’s late goal.
Following on from the interest generated by the brilliant documentary ‘Players of the Faithful’, which was screened last Christmas on RTE One, Offaly GAA in conjunction with the 1982 team, O’Neill’s Sportswear and Colgan Sports have decided to release a replica of the jersey worn by Eugene McGee’s men.
The launch on Sunday, May 5 at the Faithful Fields in Kilcormac will double-up with the launch of the Offaly footballers’ and hurlers’ 2019 championship campaigns.
You too can get your hands on your very own version of the jersey. Click here to buy your one today https://bit.ly/2GN0QLV
